- Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened in mild soapy water; never use petrol, solvents, abrasive compounds, or solvent-based sprays, which can degrade the shell and finish.
- Clean the visor with warm water and a soft, damp cloth only; avoid dry wiping or abrasive materials that will scratch the lens coating.
- Remove the interior lining and cheek pads for hand washing in lukewarm water with mild detergent; allow all components to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Do not machine wash or tumble dry any interior padding.
- Store the helmet in its protective bag in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and chemical fumes such as fuel or paint.
- Never hang the helmet by its chin strap, as repeated stress on the strap anchor can weaken the retention system over time.
- Replace the helmet after any impact that may have stressed the shell, even when no visible damage is present; internal structural damage is not always apparent externally.
- Inspect the visor locking mechanism, vent sliders, and micrometric buckle before each ride and confirm they operate correctly.
- Do not ride with a tinted or heavily darkened visor in low-light or night-time conditions.
- For shell, strap, or visor damage or wear beyond normal cleaning, contact AGV or an authorised dealer rather than attempting repair.
