The AGV K1 S is a full-face sport helmet that brings Italian engineering to an accessible price point. As the direct successor to the AGV K1, it was developed to meet the updated ECE 22.06 safety regulation, offering a meaningful step up in certified protection for everyday sport and commute riding.
The Kripton colourway delivers a sharp black-and-green graphic finish across the ventilated thermoplastic shell. Inside, a removable and washable liner keeps comfort manageable across longer stints, while a quick-release visor system lets riders swap lenses without tools.
Sized across a broad range — from S through XL — the K1 S suits a wide range of head shapes and is a practical choice for newer riders and experienced commuters alike.

- Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petrol-based solvents or abrasive cloths that can degrade the paintwork.
- Clean the visor with warm water and a microfibre cloth; do not wipe a dry visor as grit will cause scratching.
- Remove the inner liner and cheek pads before washing; hand wash in cool water with mild detergent and allow to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Inspect the visor locking mechanism and pivot screws periodically; tighten any loose fasteners and replace the visor if it no longer seals evenly against the rubber gasket.
- Replace the helmet after any impact, even if external damage is not visible — EPS foam does not recover after a single significant compression.
- Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel fumes and chemicals, all of which can degrade shell and foam materials over time.
- Use only a helmet bag or the original packaging for transport; avoid placing heavy objects on top of the helmet.
- AGV recommends replacing the helmet every five years from the date of manufacture regardless of use, or sooner if the shell, liner or retention system shows signs of wear.
