  • Clean the carbon shell with mild soap and lukewarm water using a soft cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners, or petrol, as these can damage the gloss carbon finish.
  • Clean the visor using a dedicated visor cleaner and a lint-free cloth; never wipe a dry visor, as this causes micro-scratches that reduce clarity.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads for washing; hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and allow to air-dry completely before refitting.
  • Check and retighten the peak mounting screws periodically, as vibration during riding can cause them to loosen over time.
  • Inspect the chin strap and retention buckle regularly for signs of fraying or damage.
  • If the helmet has been dropped from height or involved in any impact — even if no visible damage is present — retire and replace it, as carbon structures can sustain internal damage not visible to the naked eye.
  • Store the helmet in a ventilated helmet bag away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and extreme heat, which can degrade shell materials and liner foams over time.
  • Replace the helmet at a minimum every five years from the manufacture date, or sooner following significant use or impact.
