Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened in mild soap and warm water; avoid petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the shell finish and graphics.
Clean the visor by soaking it briefly in warm water to soften insects and road grime before wiping gently with a clean soft cloth — never wipe a dry visor, as grit will scratch the lens.
Operate the internal drop-down sun visor using its dedicated slider mechanism only; do not force it if resistance is felt, as this may indicate a debris obstruction in the channel.
Remove the interior lining and cheek pads for washing; hand wash in cool water with a gentle detergent, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry completely before refitting — do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Periodically check that the main visor seats and locks correctly at all detent positions and does not exhibit movement at speed; clean the pivot areas of accumulated grit.
