The AGV AX9 Atlante is a dual-sport adventure helmet engineered for riders who split their time between sealed roads and light off-road terrain. - Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners, and spray polishes that can damage the paint and shell.
- Clean the visor with warm water and a microfibre cloth; never wipe a dry visor as dust particles will scratch the lens surface.
- Remove the Pinlock insert before cleaning the main visor; clean the insert separately with warm water only — do not use alcohol, glass cleaner, or solvent-based products on it.
- Remove and hand-wash the interior liner in mild detergent; allow to air-dry fully before reinserting to prevent moisture build-up and odour.
- Adjust or remove the peak to suit riding conditions; ensure it is firmly secured before departing on each ride.
- Inspect the retention system (chin strap and buckle) before every ride to confirm it locks and releases correctly.
- Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even when no visible damage is present — EPS liner does not recover after absorbing an impact.
- Store in a helmet bag or box in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuels, lubricants, and solvents, all of which degrade shell and liner materials over time.
- Choosing a selection results in a full page refresh.
