The AFAM Easy Riveting Tool is a dedicated workshop tool for staking the pins of motorcycle drive chain master links. It is compatible with the three most common chain pitches used on road and off-road motorcycles: 520, 525, and 530.
Designed for riders and mechanics who fit or replace their own drive chains, the tool provides the controlled, even pressure required to correctly rivet a master link pin — an operation that cannot be safely performed with general-purpose pliers or hammers.

- Ensure the chain is correctly aligned and the master link is fully seated in the outer plate before riveting.
- Position the tool squarely over the pin; misalignment can shear or under-stake the pin head.
- Apply slow, even pressure — do not rush the staking operation.
- After use, wipe all contact surfaces and dies clean of chain lubricant and metal debris with a dry cloth.
- Inspect the pressing heads/dies before each use; replace if visibly worn, chipped, or deformed, as worn dies produce uneven pin heads.
- Apply a light film of oil to the tool's threaded screw and pivot points periodically to maintain smooth operation.
- Store in a dry location; avoid prolonged exposure to moisture to prevent corrosion of the pressing components.
- Do not attempt to use this tool on chain pitches outside the rated 520/525/530 range.
