The All Balls Racing Dust and Fork Seal Kit 56-183 is a replacement seal kit designed to restore the integrity of motorcycle front fork assemblies. It addresses the two most common wear points — the oil seal and the dust seal — allowing riders to eliminate fork oil leaks and keep contamination out of the fork internals.

All Balls Racing is a well-established powersports parts manufacturer known for application-specific replacement kits built to OEM fit standards. This kit suits riders undertaking a fork service at home or in the workshop as a cost-effective alternative to sourcing seals individually.

  • Includes both fork (oil) seal and dust seal for a complete fork service
  • Application-specific fitment under All Balls Racing part number 56-183
  • Designed as a direct OEM replacement for a precise, leak-free fit
  • Sold as a kit to simplify sourcing both seal types in one purchase
  • Fork seal(s)
  • Dust seal(s)

  • Always replace fork seals in pairs — servicing both legs at the same time ensures balanced damping performance.
  • Before installation, thoroughly clean fork tubes with a lint-free cloth and inspect them for scoring, pitting or corrosion; damaged tubes will destroy new seals quickly.
  • Lightly coat the inner lip of each new fork seal with clean fork oil before pressing it into place to avoid tearing the seal lip during fitment.
  • Use a proper seal driver or a length of appropriately sized PVC tube to press seals squarely into the fork leg — never tap seals in at an angle.
  • Drain and replace fork oil as part of the same service; reusing old oil negates the benefit of new seals.
  • After reassembly, pump the forks through their full travel several times and check for leaks before riding.
  • Store unused seals in a cool, dark place away from ozone sources (electric motors, fluorescent lights) as rubber degrades with prolonged ozone exposure.
  • Refer to your motorcycle's service manual for the correct fork oil grade, quantity and torque specifications for all fasteners.
