Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; avoid petrol, solvents or abrasive cleaners as these degrade the paint and shell material.
Clean the visor with warm water and a soft microfibre cloth, or a dedicated visor cleaner; never wipe a dry visor — loose grit will scratch the surface.
Before each ride, confirm the chin bar locks securely in both the fully open and fully closed positions.
Inspect the chin strap and buckle regularly for fraying, cracking or signs of wear, and replace if compromised.
Remove the inner liner and cheek pads periodically and hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent; allow all components to air-dry completely before reinserting.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no external damage is visible — the energy-absorbing foam liner cannot recover once compressed in a crash.
Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, heat sources and fuel vapours, all of which degrade shell and foam integrity over time.
Do not paint over, drill, or otherwise modify the shell or liner, as any alteration may compromise the helmet's structural protection.
