Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution; avoid petroleum-based solvents, acetone or abrasive pads, which can damage the matte finish.
Wipe the visor with lukewarm water and a lint-free cloth; do not use paper towels or dry-wipe, as these scratch the lens.
If the interior comfort liners are removable, hand-wash them in cool water with gentle detergent and allow to air-dry fully before refitting — never use a tumble dryer.
Store the helmet in a helmet bag or on a flat surface in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, petrol vapour, and heat sources, all of which degrade EPS foam and shell materials over time.
Do not apply aftermarket stickers, spray paint or chemical products to the matte finish without first confirming compatibility, as these can soften or stain the surface.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if no visible cracking is present; EPS foam liners absorb energy by crushing and cannot be relied upon after a hard strike.
Replace the visor as soon as it becomes scratched, cratered or discoloured enough to impair vision — particularly important at night or in low-sun conditions.
Avoid resting the helmet on fuel tanks or surfaces contaminated with fuel or chain lubricant, as these chemicals attack the shell and liner.
