- Inspect all mounting hardware for tightness before every ride, as vibration can cause fasteners to loosen over time.
- Do not exceed the maximum load rating of the side cases being used — consult the case documentation for weight limits.
- Periodically check the carrier frame for signs of cracking, corrosion or deformation, particularly after long-distance touring or off-road use.
- Clean with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth; avoid high-pressure water directed at mounting points and fasteners.

- When removing side cases, ensure the carrier remains firmly secured to the subframe before storage.
