- Install following the instructions supplied with the kit; ensure all fixings are tightened securely before riding.
- After the first few rides, re-check all mounting hardware for tightness as fasteners can settle under load.
- Periodically inspect the frame, mounting points and all hardware for signs of wear, corrosion or loosening.
- Wipe down the mounting frame with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly after wet-weather riding to prevent corrosion.
- Avoid directing high-pressure water jets at mounting brackets or fastener heads.
- Apply a light corrosion inhibitor to exposed metal surfaces if the bike is regularly ridden in wet or coastal conditions.
- Do not exceed the maximum load rating specified for the Shad side cases used with this kit.
- If any part of the mounting frame is bent or cracked, replace it before further use.
