Check the mirror stem thread and direction against your bike's mounts before fitting; thread adapters may be required on some models.
Tighten mounting hardware firmly but do not overtighten, as chrome-plated fittings can gall or crack.
Adjust the mirrors while seated on the bike in your normal riding position, then re-check the lock nuts.
Re-check tightness after the first few rides and periodically thereafter, as vibration can loosen mirror stems.
Clean the chrome with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry fully; avoid abrasive pads and solvent-based cleaners.
Use a dedicated chrome polish and a light protective wax to guard against corrosion, particularly in coastal or winter conditions.
Rinse off road salt, insects and bird droppings promptly to prevent pitting of the plating.
Clean the mirror glass separately with a soft, lint-free cloth to avoid scratching.
