The Yuasa YTZ10S is a sealed, maintenance-free AGM motorcycle battery supplied in the popular Z-series case size used by many sports and road bikes. As a non-spillable design, it needs no electrolyte top-ups over its service life and can be mounted without the venting hassles of a conventional flooded battery.
It suits riders replacing a factory-fitted YTZ10S and anyone after a straightforward, no-fuss replacement from a long-established battery brand. Check your existing battery's part number, terminal layout and tray dimensions before ordering.

- Check the battery's state of charge before first fitting and charge it if required — installing an undercharged battery shortens its life.
- Use a charger designed for sealed AGM/maintenance-free batteries; do not use an unregulated or high-current automotive charger.
- Do not attempt to open the battery or add water or electrolyte — the case is sealed and must stay that way.
- Disconnect the negative terminal first when removing, and reconnect it last when fitting, to avoid shorting against the frame.
- Tighten terminal bolts firmly but do not overtighten, and keep the terminals clean, dry and free of corrosion.
- Secure the battery in its tray so it cannot move or vibrate against surrounding components.
- If the bike is stored or ridden only occasionally, keep the battery on a suitable maintenance charger or top it up periodically — leaving it flat for long periods causes permanent damage.
- Store spare or off-season batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct heat and sunlight.
- Recycle the old battery through a battery collection point; do not place it in general waste.
