The Yoshimura V2 Fender Eliminator Kit is a bolt-on tail tidy for the Kawasaki ZX-14 and ZX-14R, covering model years 2006 to 2023. It replaces the bulky factory rear guard and number plate hanger with a compact powder-coated stainless steel and aluminium base, giving the tail section a much cleaner line without cutting or modifying the bike.
Yoshimura redesigned the V2 base from the ground up around a modular idea: you start with the base kit and add only the accessories you actually want, such as the anodised aircraft-grade aluminium licence plate frame or Works titanium plate bolts (sold separately). The base includes model-specific plug and play wiring for the LED licence plate light housing, so there is no splicing into the loom, and integrated fasteners cut the hardware count roughly in half and remove the need to hold a nut with a second spanner during final torque.
Suited to ZX-14/ZX-14R owners who want a tidier rear end with a straightforward, reversible install. Designed to fit a standard motorcycle as delivered from the factory; OE or aftermarket accessories not fitted from new may not be compatible. Yoshimura notes this product was designed and tested for vehicles in the U.S. market, so fitment and performance may vary in other markets.

- Fit to a standard, factory-specification motorcycle; check clearance and compatibility first if the bike already has OE or aftermarket tail accessories.
- Use the supplied plug and play connector for the LED licence plate light - do not cut or splice the factory loom.
- Take advantage of the integrated fasteners: they are designed to be torqued from one side, so avoid over-tightening while trying to counter-hold.
- Before riding, confirm the LED plate light illuminates with the ignition on and that the number plate is mounted securely and remains legible and correctly presented for your state's roadworthiness and number plate display rules.
- Re-check all fasteners after the first ride and then periodically, as the tail section sees vibration and road shock.
- Clean the powder-coated and anodised surfaces with mild soap and water and a soft cloth; avoid solvents, abrasive pads and harsh wheel or chain cleaners.
- Do not aim a high-pressure washer directly at the light housing or the wiring connector - water forced past the seal can cause corrosion or intermittent operation.
- Rinse the assembly after riding in wet, salted or coastal conditions, then dry it to protect the hardware and finish.
- Keep the original fender and plate hanger with the packaging so the bike can be returned to standard later if required.
