The X-Tech Universal Training Wheels Set is a bolt-on learning aid for junior mini motorcycles, giving new riders the extra stability they need while they build confidence, balance and throttle control.

The set mounts directly to the bike underneath the frame and is supplied with a complete hardware pack, two styles of axle mounting plate and full assembly instructions, so it can be adapted to a wide range of junior bikes. Assembly needs only basic hand tools.

Suited to parents and coaches setting up a first bike for supervised, low-speed learning.

Assemble using the supplied instructions — you'll need 6mm, 8mm and 10mm spanners or sockets, pliers and a tape measure.
Choose the straight or "L"-shaped axle mounting plate to suit your bike's frame, and use the mounting blocks to line the wheels up squarely with the rear axle.
Measure both sides with the tape measure so the wheels sit at equal height and the bike stays level.
Fit a lock nut to every bolt and spread the cotter pins fully so nothing can work loose under vibration.
Re-check all fasteners after the first ride and before each session — training wheels take repeated side loads.
As the rider's balance improves, raise the wheels a little at a time so the bike is allowed to lean further before the wheels take the weight.
Best used for supervised, low-speed learning on flat, firm ground rather than jumps or rough terrain.
After riding, clean mud and grit off the wheels, plates and pivot points and wipe the hardware dry.
Inspect regularly for worn or cracked wheels, bent plates and elongated bolt holes, and replace damaged parts before further use.
When removed from the bike, store the set and its hardware together in a dry place out of direct sunlight.
