Description

A pair of replacement front shock absorbers from Whites Motorcycle Parts, built to suit the 2011–2013 Yamaha Grizzly 450. They're a direct replacement for OEM part 1CT-F3350-00-00, so they're a straightforward fix when the original units are bent, leaking or simply worn out after years of work.

The steel shock body is made to cope with the conditions ATVs actually live in — mud, dust, station work and rough trail — while the upgraded damping smooths out the ride compared with a tired factory shock. Supplied as a pair so both sides are replaced together and the front end stays balanced.

Operations & maintenance

Check your existing shock dimensions and the OEM part number (1CT-F3350-00-00) against the listed measurements before fitting.
Replace both front shocks as a pair so damping and ride height stay even side to side.
Support the ATV securely on stands with the front wheels off the ground before removing the original shocks.
Fit the mounting bolts through the 10 x 32mm eyelets and tighten to the torque figures in your Grizzly 450 service manual.
Re-check mounting bolt tightness after the first ride or two, then at regular service intervals.
After riding in mud, sand or dust, rinse the shocks with low-pressure water and wipe the shaft clean — keeping grit off the shaft protects the seal.
Avoid aiming a pressure washer directly at the shaft, seal head or spring seat.
Periodically inspect for oil weeping around the seal, bent or scored shafts, and worn eyelet bushes, and check the springs for damage or corrosion.
Do not clamp the shock body in a vice or grip the shaft with tools — damage to the body or shaft finish will cause leaks.
Touch up or clean any chipped paint on the steel body to keep surface corrosion at bay, particularly on farm and coastal machines.
