Description

A left and right radiator set from Whites Motorcycle Parts, built as a direct replacement for bent, cracked or leaking radiators on GasGas EC and MC 200, 250 and 300 models from 2007 to 2017. Each radiator is hand-welded from aluminium and built to OEM dimensions, so it drops into the standard mounting points and sits correctly behind the shrouds.

It suits enduro and motocross riders who have taken a hit in the rocks or had a tip-over, as well as anyone tidying up a bike before a rebuild or resale. Supplied as a pair with a new radiator cap on the cap-side unit, it restores full cooling capacity and flow without the cost of genuine parts.

Note that stock mounting hardware is reused and is not supplied with these radiators.

Operations & maintenance

Transfer the stock mounting bolts, rubber grommets and braces from the old radiators, as no hardware is supplied.
Inspect the original radiator hoses and clamps while the units are out, and replace any that are perished, swollen or cracked.
Fit the supplied cap to the cap-side radiator and retain the original cap only if it is known to be holding pressure correctly.
Refill with the coolant type specified in your GasGas owner's manual, then bleed trapped air by running the engine to temperature with the bike upright before topping up.
Check for weeping around the welds, hose unions and cap seat after the first ride and again after the first few heat cycles.
Avoid directing high-pressure washers at the core; wash with low-pressure water and a soft brush, working along the fins rather than across them.
Straighten minor fin damage carefully with a fin comb to maintain airflow, and address any leaking or badly distorted core rather than continuing to ride.
Fit radiator guards or braces if you ride tight, rocky terrain, as this is the most common cause of impact damage.
Flush and renew the coolant at the interval given in your service schedule to limit corrosion inside the aluminium core.
When storing the bike, keep the cooling system filled with coolant rather than water to prevent internal corrosion and freezing.
