WMP Radiators Suzuki DRZ400E '02-'17 Pair

A complete left and right radiator pair from Whites Motorcycle Parts (WMP), built as a direct replacement for the Suzuki DR-Z400E from 2002 to 2017. Each core is hand-welded from aluminium and built to OEM specifications, so it drops into the standard location and keeps the factory look of the bike.

This is the sensible fix for radiators that have been bent, cracked or holed in a crash or a tip-over, and it is equally useful as a spare set kept on the bench before a big ride. The pair is designed to deliver full cooling and coolant flow so the motor keeps its temperature in check on tight trails and slow going.

Uses the bike's existing radiator mounting hardware, which is not supplied. A new radiator cap is included with the cap-side radiator.

Fit with the engine completely cold and the coolant drained; never open a radiator cap on a hot or pressurised system.
Transfer the stock mounting hardware, rubber mounts and grommets from the old radiators, and replace any that are perished or missing.
Do not over-tighten the mounting bolts - aluminium mounting tabs will distort or crack if they are pulled up hard or forced to take up a misalignment.
Check that hoses are in good condition and use fresh clamps where the old ones are corroded or have lost tension.
Refill with the coolant type specified for your DR-Z400E, then run the engine and bleed trapped air before topping up to level.
After the first ride, re-check hose clamps, mounting bolts and coolant level while the engine is cold.
Wash with low-pressure water and a soft brush only; high-pressure washers flatten the fins and reduce cooling.
Straighten any bent fins gently with a fin comb and clear mud, grass and debris from the core after off-road use.
Avoid caustic or acidic cleaners and strong degreasers, which attack aluminium and soldered joints.
Inspect regularly for weeping seams, stone damage and impact marks; radiator guards are worth fitting for off-road riding.
If the bike is stored for an extended period, leave the system filled with coolant rather than draining it dry to limit internal corrosion.
