The Alpinestars Stella Tech 3 is a women's motocross and off-road boot built on the proven Tech-family platform, then re-engineered around a women's-specific fit — most noticeably through the calf, so the boot closes cleanly and supports the leg without excess volume.

Protection comes from a one-piece injected dual-compound foot shell with a co-injected hard toe protector and integrated steel shank, backed by a contoured high-modulus TPU shin plate and a low-profile medial and lateral pivot system that allows natural flex while resisting hyper-extension. A PU-reinforced microfibre upper keeps weight down and stands up to abrasion, while accordion flex zones at the instep and Achilles preserve feel on the pegs and the rear brake.

Allow a short break-in period — ride the boots progressively at first so the shell, gaiter and flex zones settle to your leg before a long or hard session.
Check all buckles, buckle arms and straps before every ride; the buckles are individually replaceable, so replace a damaged one rather than riding with a compromised closure.
Adjust the buckles from the bottom up for even pressure, and use the memory setting so the fit repeats each time you put the boots on.
Knock off loose dirt after riding, then clean the microfibre upper and TPU panels with a soft brush or damp cloth and mild soapy water; avoid solvents, petrol, brake cleaner and abrasive scourers.
Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Remove the footbed after wet or muddy rides and let both the footbed and boots air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources, exhausts and prolonged sunlight.
The extended gaiter helps seal out water and dirt but the boots are not waterproof — expect water entry in deep crossings and dry them thoroughly afterwards.
Inspect the sole for wear and have it replaced when the grip pattern is worn down; the sole is replaceable, so the boot need not be discarded.
Store upright in a cool, dry, ventilated place with the buckles loosely fastened to help the shafts hold their shape.
Retire and replace the boots after a significant impact or crash, even if damage is not visible, as protective components may be compromised.
