Brush off loose dirt and road grime after riding, then wipe the microfibre upper with a soft damp cloth and a little mild soap.
Avoid solvents, petrol, strong detergents and machine washing, as these can damage the microfibre upper, the TPU/TPR protectors and the bonding of the sole.
Air dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhaust pipes — heat can distort protectors and harden the sole.
Remove the EVA footbed after wet or sweaty rides so both the footbed and the 3D mesh lining can dry fully; replace the footbed when it flattens or wears through.
Check the laces and the hook-and-loop TPR strap regularly for fraying or reduced grip, and replace laces before they fail mid-ride.
Wear the shoes fully laced and with the lateral strap fastened so the ankle protectors and heel counter sit in the correct position.
Inspect the TPR toe slider, heel counter and sole tread periodically; heavily worn soles reduce grip on pegs and at the lights.
After any crash or significant impact, inspect the shoes closely and replace them if the upper, protectors or sole show damage — the CE protection cannot be relied on once compromised.
Store in a cool, dry place, loosely laced and ideally with the footbeds in place to hold the shoe's shape; avoid crushing them under heavier gear.
Allow a short wearing-in period so the microfibre upper and padded collar mould to your foot before a long ride.
