The Wanda P605 is a 4.80/4.00-8 tubeless tyre built for 8-inch rims, using a diamond tread pattern and a 6 ply rating construction. It is a common replacement fitment on utility ATVs and quads, ride-on mowers, garden tractors and small trailers running this size.

The diamond (turf-style) tread is a general-purpose pattern, offering a broad, evenly distributed contact area rather than the deep lugs of an aggressive mud tyre. The 6PR rating suits load-carrying duties, while the tubeless construction allows fitment to a suitable airtight rim without a tube.

Sold individually. Fitment should be confirmed against your machine's rim size and the load and pressure requirements moulded on the tyre sidewall.

  • Size 4.80/4.00-8 for 8-inch rims

  • Have the tyre fitted by a qualified tyre technician using correct beading equipment — levering a tyre onto an 8-inch rim by hand risks damaging the bead and the rim seal.
  • As a tubeless tyre, it must be fitted to a rim in sound, airtight condition; check the rim seat and valve for corrosion, dents or damage before fitting and renew the valve at the same time where practical.
  • Do not exceed the maximum inflation pressure moulded on the sidewall, and do not exceed the seating pressure specified by the tyre fitter when beading the tyre.
  • Set running pressure to your machine manufacturer's recommendation for the application, and check it cold (before use) rather than after riding, as heat raises indicated pressure.
  • Check pressures regularly — small ATV and mower tyres lose pressure faster than car tyres, and under-inflation causes bead unseating, poor handling and rapid shoulder wear.
  • Inspect before each use for cuts, punctures, embedded objects, sidewall bulges, cracking and uneven or worn tread; replace the tyre if any of these are present.
  • After puncture repair, only use a repair method approved for tubeless tyres and have it done professionally — external plug-only repairs are a temporary get-home measure.
  • Clean with water and mild detergent and a soft brush; avoid solvents, petrol and tyre dressings containing petroleum distillates, which degrade rubber.
  • Store out of direct sunlight and away from ozone sources such as electric motors and welders, in a cool, dry place, and lay tyres flat or stand them upright rather than hanging them from a hook.
  • If the machine is stored for long periods, keep the tyres inflated and off wet ground, or lift the machine on stands to avoid flat-spotting.
