Clean the visor using warm water with a small amount of mild soap and a soft, lint-free cloth — never dry-wipe, as this can cause fine scratches.
Avoid petroleum-based solvents, acetone, or abrasive cleaning products, which can degrade the visor material and any coatings.
When cleaning, do not apply heavy pressure; rinse thoroughly and allow to air-dry.
Store the visor in a soft protective bag or case when not fitted to the helmet to prevent scratching.
Inspect the visor before each ride for cracks, deep scratches, or distortion that may impair vision; replace immediately if found.
Dark tint and mirror visors reduce light transmission — check local road rules regarding tinted visors and use appropriate eyewear or swap to a clear visor for night or low-light riding.
Replace the visor if it has sustained any impact, as structural integrity may be compromised even without visible damage.
