Alpinestars Vision Thermal Liner Black

The Alpinestars Vision Thermal Liner is a lightweight insulated jacket built to work two ways: as a standalone layer off the bike, or slipped under a textile riding jacket when the temperature drops. It packs down small, so it is easy to stow in a tail bag or pannier once the day warms up.

Warmth comes from PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation Eco, a fine-fibre insulation with a high warmth-to-weight ratio that keeps performing when damp. Stretch panelling is positioned to follow the riding position and to sit with the stretch inserts found in Alpinestars outer garments, while zippered pockets keep valuables secure. A good choice for commuters and touring riders who want one liner that covers cool mornings and cold evenings.

Check the sewn-in care label before washing and follow the stated temperature and cycle — insulated garments are easily damaged by guesswork.
Wash separately from hook-and-loop fastenings and zip all pockets and the waist connection zipper closed first to protect the fabric.
Skip fabric softener; it coats insulation fibres and reduces loft, which is where the warmth comes from.
Do not dry clean, bleach or press the liner, and keep it away from radiators, heaters and exhaust pipes when drying.
After drying, shake the jacket out to redistribute the insulation and restore loft before storing.
Store hanging or loosely folded in a cool, dry place rather than tightly compressed long term, so the PrimaLoft® keeps its thickness.
Pack it away for the ride in a tail bag or pannier once the day warms up — the liner is designed to compress for transport, but avoid leaving it crushed for weeks at a time.
When layering, join the internal waist zipper to compatible Alpinestars textile touring pants so the liner cannot ride up under an outer jacket.
The hydration compartment takes a water bladder that is sold separately; rinse and dry any bladder fully before storing it inside the jacket.
While the insulation resists damp, the liner is not a waterproof outer — use a weatherproof outer garment in sustained rain, then air the liner out afterwards.
