The Viper M04 is a rear motocross and enduro tyre developed in Australia specifically for local soft to intermediate terrain. In 120/100-18, it suits enduro and off-road bikes running an 18-inch rear rim.

The lug design and shape are aimed at consistent grip in soft, loamy soil and mud, with a tread pattern that clears mud rather than packing up. A redesigned carcass broadens the tyre's working range and sharpens rider feedback, so it stays predictable as conditions firm up through a ride or a race weekend.

Sold individually as a single rear tyre.

  • Have the tyre fitted by a qualified tyre fitter, using proper levers and rim protection so the bead and tube are not pinched or damaged.
  • Observe any rotation-direction arrow marked on the sidewall when fitting, and make sure rim locks are correctly tightened before the wheel goes back in.
  • Set pressures cold, before riding, to the figures recommended by your motorcycle manufacturer, and adjust to suit the terrain and your weight.
  • Check that the valve stem still sits square to the rim; a leaning stem means the tyre has slipped on the rim and pressures or rim locks need attention.
  • Take it easy for the first few kilometres so any mould release agent wears off the knobs before you look for maximum grip.
  • Inspect the tread before each ride for torn, chunked or rounded knobs, cuts, and stones lodged between lugs; replace the tyre once knobs are badly damaged or any carcass cords are exposed.
  • Wash with water and a mild detergent only — keep fuel, oils, solvents and silicone tyre dressings off the tread and sidewalls.
  • Store in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, fuels and ozone sources such as electric motors or welders, and avoid resting heavy loads on the tyre where it can deform.
  • This is an off-road pattern; confirm your local road-use regulations before fitting it to a registered machine.
