- Check tyre pressure regularly using a calibrated gauge; maintain the pressure specified in your scooter's owner manual, not embossed on the tyre sidewall.
- Inspect the tread depth and sidewalls for cuts, cracks, or embedded objects before each ride.
- For tubeless fitment, ensure the bead seats fully on both sides of the rim before inflating — never exceed the maximum inflation pressure when seating the bead.
- If a slow puncture occurs, use a plug-and-seal kit suitable for tubeless tyres as a temporary repair; have the tyre professionally inspected before returning to normal use.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (electric motors), and solvents.
- Avoid contact with petroleum-based tyre dressings on the tread surface, as these can reduce grip.
- Do not mix tyre brands or constructions on the front and rear unless specifically recommended by the vehicle manufacturer.
- Replace the tyre if tread depth reaches the wear indicator or if sidewall damage is found.
