- Check tyre pressure regularly using a calibrated gauge; refer to your scooter's owner manual for the correct recommended pressure in kPa or psi.
- Inspect tread depth and sidewall condition before each ride; replace the tyre when tread depth reaches the moulded wear indicators.
- New tyres have a release agent on the surface that requires a break-in period of approximately 100 km at moderate speeds; avoid hard cornering or sudden braking during this period.
- Do not mix tyre brands or construction types on the same axle without consulting your scooter's manual.
- Have the tyre fitted and beads seated by a qualified tyre technician using appropriate workshop equipment; do not attempt roadside tubeless bead seating without proper tools.
- After fitting, check bead seating and re-check pressure after the first 24 hours.
- Clean the tyre with mild soap and water; avoid petroleum-based solvents, tyre dressings, or silicone sprays on the tread area as these can reduce grip.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (motors, generators), and fuel or oil.
