The Vee Rubber VRM109R is an intermediate-pattern motorcycle tyre in a 4.50-17 sizing, built for tube-type fitment. Its intermediate tread is designed to perform across mixed terrain conditions, making it a practical choice for trail and dual-sport riding where conditions vary.
As a tube-type construction, the VRM109R requires a compatible inner tube and is suited to wheels that are set up accordingly. The 4.50-17 size is a common rear fitment on enduro, trail, and older classic off-road machines.

- Check tyre pressure before every ride; tube-type tyres can lose pressure gradually and riding on low pressure causes premature wear and handling problems.
- Inspect the tyre sidewalls and tread regularly for cuts, cracking, embedded objects or irregular wear.
- If the tyre is punctured, replace the inner tube rather than attempting roadside plug repairs in the tread.
- Ensure the inner tube is correctly sized and seated during fitment — a pinched or twisted tube is a common cause of blowouts.
- Fit using tyre levers carefully to avoid damaging the tube; dust the tube lightly with talcum powder before installation to reduce friction.
- Store unused tyres upright in a cool, dark, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (e.g. electric motors) and petrochemicals.
- Monitor tread depth and replace the tyre before the wear indicators are reached; do not run worn tyres off-road where grip is critical.
- After fitment, have the wheel balanced where possible to prevent vibration and uneven wear.
