It's the sensible option for riders who love the sweeping Big Radius look but want a calmer system for early starts, long highway stints, built-up areas or noise-sensitive ride days.

Because it's engineered specifically for the Big Radius platform, it seats correctly in the system rather than acting as a generic insert. It is removable, so you can run quieter when it suits and return to the standard note whenever you like. Part number V23081, sold individually.

Only fit or remove the baffle when the exhaust is completely cold — headers and mufflers hold heat long after shutdown.
Install using the fitting instructions supplied with your Big Radius system; the baffle must be fully seated and properly secured before riding.
A 2-into-2 system has two mufflers and this baffle is sold individually — confirm how many your set-up requires before ordering.
After the first few heat cycles, re-check the retaining hardware, as heat and vibration can loosen fasteners.
Remove and inspect periodically for carbon build-up; clear deposits with a stiff non-metallic brush so flow stays consistent.
Wipe the visible chrome or black finish with a soft cloth and a mild cleaner only, and avoid abrasive polishes or harsh solvents that can mark the finish.
Do not use chrome polish or wax on hot pipes, and let the exhaust cool fully before washing the bike.
Adding or removing a baffle alters exhaust flow, so have your fuelling checked or re-tuned if the bike runs differently afterwards.
Store the baffle somewhere clean and dry when not fitted, so the hardware doesn't corrode or go missing.
Riders remain responsible for meeting local noise and emissions regulations — a quiet baffle reduces volume but does not by itself guarantee compliance.
