The Vance & Hines Hi-Output Slip-On is a direct-fit muffler upgrade for the Honda Rebel 1100T (CMX1100T), 2023-2024. It replaces the standard muffler with a high-exit, 4-inch stepped design that gives the Rebel a deeper, more characterful exhaust note while keeping the bike's stripped-back cruiser lines intact.

Everything is finished in blacked-out detail: a high-temperature matte black ceramic coating over the muffler body, a CNC-machined billet aluminium end cap, a laser-engraved riveted badge and a dedicated mid-pipe heat shield. It suits Rebel 1100T riders after a styling and sound change from a recognised American exhaust brand, without moving to a full system.

Fit to a completely cold engine, following the instructions supplied with the exhaust; a qualified motorcycle technician should carry out installation if you are unsure.
Wipe fingerprints, oils and packing residue off the muffler and heat shield before the first start-up, as contaminants can bake into the ceramic finish during the first heat cycles.
Re-check the clamp and all mounting fasteners after the first ride and again after a few heat cycles, as joints can settle once the system has been heated and cooled.
After installation, listen and check for leaks at the mid-pipe joint; a hissing or ticking noise usually indicates a poorly seated connection rather than a fault with the muffler.
Allow the exhaust to cool fully before cleaning or touching it - the muffler, end cap and mid-pipe reach high temperatures in use.
Clean the matte black ceramic surfaces with mild soapy water and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive pads, wire brushes, cutting compounds and acidic or caustic wheel cleaners, which will mark or dull the coating.
Clean the billet aluminium end cap with a soft damp cloth only; keep solvents, petrol and degreasers off both the end cap and the coated surfaces.
Do not aim a pressure washer into the muffler outlet or directly at the joints. If the bike is washed, run the engine until warm afterwards so trapped moisture evaporates.
Periodically check the heat shield brackets and rivets for security, and inspect the muffler mount for corrosion or fretting where it contacts the frame.
If the bike's running characteristics change after fitting, have the fuelling assessed by a qualified technician.
