Description

A complete replacement bodywork kit from Italian plastics brand UFO Plast, made for the Kawasaki KX85 across the 2001–2013 model years. The restyle design replaces the original panels with updated shaping, so a tired or cracked bike can be brought back to a clean, current-looking finish in one purchase rather than panel by panel.

Finished in black throughout, it suits riders refreshing a well-used KX85, repairing crash damage, or building a bike ready for a new set of graphics. Supplied as a kit under part number KAKIT214KE001.

Operations & maintenance

Check the fitment year range against your bike before fitting, and dry-fit each panel before fully tightening any fasteners.
Reuse or replace the original mounting hardware, grommets and well nuts, and tighten only until snug — overtightening is the most common cause of cracks around mounting holes.
Wash with warm water and a mild detergent using a soft sponge or cloth; rinse thoroughly and dry.
Avoid petrol, brake cleaner, strong solvents and abrasive pads, which can haze, soften or scratch the surface.
Keep a pressure washer well back and off the panel edges and any graphics, especially around fastener points.
If fitting graphics, clean and degrease the panels first and apply to a dry surface at room temperature so the adhesive bonds properly.
Store spare or unfitted panels flat and out of direct sunlight to prevent warping and fading.
Inspect the panels after crashes for hairline cracks, particularly around mounting holes, and replace damaged pieces before the crack spreads.
