Description

The La Corsa 0-15 psi Tyre Pressure Gauge is a low-pressure gauge built for the pressures dirt riders actually run. Standard gauges are calibrated for road use and lose accuracy at the bottom of their range, which is exactly where motocross, enduro and ATV tyres live.

With a large, easy-to-read display and a protective rubber housing, it suits riders setting tyre pressures in the pits, at the trailhead or in the shed. The dynamic bleeder valve lets you release air in small increments while the gauge stays on the valve, so you can dial in an exact figure rather than guessing between readings.

Key Features

  • Low-pressure range of 0-15 psi for accurate readings at off-road pressures
  • Purpose-designed for motocross, off-road motorcycles and ATVs
  • Large, easy-to-read display
  • Protective rubber housing
  • Dynamic bleeder valve for bleeding down to an exact pressure

Operations & maintenance

Check pressures when the tyres are cold — riding heats the air inside and gives a falsely high reading.
Press the gauge squarely and firmly onto the valve stem so it seals; a hissing sound means the seating is off-centre and the reading will read low.
Use the bleeder valve in short bursts to drop pressure while the gauge stays fitted, rechecking between bursts until you reach your target figure.
Do not use the gauge on tyres inflated above 15 psi, as pressures beyond the measuring range can damage it.
Wipe the body and the valve fitting clean of dust, mud and grit after use; avoid solvents and harsh degreasers on the rubber housing.
Keep the valve fitting free of debris — grit carried into the mechanism is the most common cause of inaccurate readings.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, and avoid dropping the gauge on hard surfaces even with the rubber housing fitted.
Periodically compare readings against a known-accurate gauge, and retire the unit if readings drift or the needle no longer returns to zero.
Refit the tyre valve dust cap after every check to keep dirt and moisture out of the valve.
