Description

The Airoh Twist 3.0 in Military Matt is a lightweight off-road helmet built around a double thermoplastic HRT shell, with a ventilation layout developed in the wind tunnel to keep air moving on long, hot days in the dirt.

The third-generation Twist carries a sharper, more aggressive shape than the model it replaces, along with Airoh's ASN and AEFR systems and preparation for fitting a Bluetooth intercom. A double D-ring chin strap handles retention, and two shell sizes across the range keep proportions and weight sensible on smaller and larger heads alike.

Suited to motocross, enduro, trail and adventure riders after a well-vented, no-fuss off-road lid.

Operations & maintenance

Clean the outer shell and vent openings with lukewarm water and a mild soap on a soft cloth; keep petrol-based solvents, ammonia and abrasive cleaners away from the thermoplastic shell and matt finish.
Let the internal padding dry naturally at room temperature — never use a hairdryer, heater or direct sunlight.
Fasten the double D-ring every ride: thread the strap through both rings, back through the inner ring, and pull it snug under the jaw. Never ride with the strap loose or unfastened.
Check the peak and its fixing screws before each ride and after heavy off-road use; hand-tighten only and do not over-torque.
Clear mud, dust and grass seed from the vent inlets and rear exhausts after every ride so airflow isn't blocked.
When installing a Bluetooth intercom, use the helmet's existing speaker and wiring provisions — never cut, drill or shave the shell or the internal EPS liner to make room.
Store the helmet in a bag in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight, fuel and solvent fumes; don't hang it by the chin strap or leave it on a mirror or handlebar, which can distort the lining.
Avoid stickers, adhesive tape, paint and chemical treatments on the shell, as the adhesives and solvents can weaken it.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible damage, and retire it if the shell, strap or D-rings are damaged.
