Replacement air box sealing rings from Twin Air to suit the Honda CR125R and CR250R from 2002 to 2007. The set covers both the inner and outer sealing positions, so the whole sealing interface is renewed at once rather than mixing a tired ring with a fresh one.

Air box seals are a wear item on a motocross bike. They live in a harsh environment of dirt, fuel vapour, pressure washing and repeated filter changes, and once they harden, tear or take a set, unfiltered air and grit can find a way past the filter. Fitting fresh rings is a cheap, quick job that restores a clean seal at the next filter service.

Inspect the sealing rings every time you service the air filter, and replace them if they are torn, hardened, distorted or no longer spring back when compressed.
Wipe the air box and filter cage sealing faces clean and dry before fitting, so grit isn't trapped under the ring.
Seat the inner and outer rings on their matching sealing faces so they sit flat and evenly compressed, with no twists, gaps or pinched sections.
A light, even smear of air filter grease on the sealing face is common practice on motocross air boxes to help trap fine dust; avoid heavy build-up, which attracts grit.
Keep petrol, brake cleaner and harsh solvents away from the rings, as they can swell or harden the material; clean with warm soapy water and allow to dry fully.
When washing the bike, fit an air box wash cover or plug and keep the pressure washer lance away from the air box join.
Re-check that both rings are correctly seated after washing, or after any filter removal, before starting the engine.
Replace both rings as a set rather than pairing a new ring with an old one.
Store spare rings flat in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight, fuel and oil.
