Before fitting, lightly dust the outside of the tube with talcum powder to help it seat smoothly inside the tyre carcass without folding or bunching.
Partially inflate the tube just enough to give it shape before placing it inside the tyre — this reduces the risk of pinch flats during installation.
When mounting the tyre, use tyre irons carefully to avoid pinching or puncturing the tube; work in small increments around the bead.
After fitting, inflate gradually and check that the tyre bead seats evenly on both sides of the rim before reaching operating pressure.
Always inflate to the ATV manufacturer's recommended tyre pressure — do not over-inflate.
Inspect the tube and valve stem regularly for signs of slow leaks, cracking, or damage, particularly after riding in rocky or sharp terrain.
When removing a tube for repair or replacement, mark the valve stem position relative to the tyre before disassembly to help identify the cause of punctures.
Store unused tubes uninflated in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (electric motors, fluorescent lights), and petroleum-based products, which degrade rubber.
