TR41 Alloy Top Case

The SHAD Terra TR41 is a versatile top case built for riders who want secure, weather-resistant storage on the road and on the trail. Its reinforced polypropylene shell is engineered for strength at low weight, and the sealed frame keeps rain and dust away from your gear.

Inside there's room for two medium jet helmets or a single XL trail helmet, while four high-strength hooks on the lid let you strap bulky items on top. A stainless steel closing structure and integrated handle mean you can open, close, release and carry the case in seconds. It's a practical fit for adventure, touring and commuting setups, and the SHAD mounting plate is included so it's ready to bolt to a compatible rack.

Fit the supplied SHAD mounting plate to a compatible rack and check that all fasteners are correctly torqued before the first ride.
After mounting the case, lift and tug it to confirm the latch is fully engaged and locked before riding.
Keep total load within the 5 kg maximum recommended load, counting anything carried inside plus anything strapped to the upper hooks.
Also observe your motorcycle or rack manufacturer's own maximum rear load rating, whichever is lower, and pack heavier items low and forward.
Use straps or a cargo net through the four upper hooks for bulky loads, and check the straps for tension at every stop.
Wash the shell with mild soapy water and a soft cloth; avoid solvents, fuel and abrasive cleaners, and don't aim a high-pressure washer at the case or its seal.
Keep the rubber seal and the sealing face clean and free of grit so the case continues to shed rain and dust; dry the interior out if any moisture gets in.
Periodically re-check the mounting plate bolts and the security of the closing mechanism, as vibration can loosen fasteners over time.
If you also run SHAD side cases, have the lock cylinders swapped so the whole set runs on a single key.
Remove the case and store it dry and out of direct sunlight when it isn't in use, and keep the lid latched to protect the seal.
