The SHAD Top Master is a model-specific rear rack that lets you carry a SHAD top case on the Honda CB125F. Rather than a universal bracket, it is engineered around this bike's subframe and mounting points, so the fitment is tidy and the load is supported where the motorcycle is designed to take it.

It suits commuters, learners and delivery riders who want secure, lockable storage for a helmet, groceries or a laptop without permanently altering the bike. The rack stays on the motorcycle while the case itself clicks on and off in seconds.

Note: a SHAD top plate is required to attach the case and is supplied with SHAD top cases rather than with this rack. The rack is not compatible with the aluminium mounting plate.

Fit the rack using the model-specific instructions supplied in the kit, and use the original SHAD hardware in the positions shown.
Pair the rack with a compatible SHAD top plate (D1B29PA, D1B40PA or D1B591PA); the aluminium mounting plate must not be used with this rack.
Tighten all fasteners evenly to the values given in the SHAD instructions, then re-check them after the first ride and periodically thereafter, as vibration can loosen bolts over time.
Before each trip, confirm the top case is fully clicked onto the plate and locked, and give it a firm tug to check it is seated.
Keep the load light and packed low and evenly; do not exceed the maximum load stated by SHAD for your top case, and avoid carrying heavy or bulky items that change the bike's handling.
Check clearance around the pillion seat, grab rail, indicators and mudguard after fitting, and re-check if you change the seat or exhaust.
Wash with mild soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry thoroughly; avoid solvents, abrasive cleaners and high-pressure washers aimed directly at the mounts.
Inspect regularly for corrosion, cracks, elongated bolt holes or damaged rubber spacers, and replace any suspect part before riding.
Keep the top plate rails and locking mechanism clean and free of grit so the case engages and releases smoothly.
Remove the top case when it is not needed to reduce weight, wind buffeting and unnecessary stress on the rack and subframe.
