The SHAD SH34 is a compact 34-litre top case built from reinforced polypropylene, with enough usable space for a full-face helmet plus gloves and everyday odds and ends. It ships with the carbon-look cover fitted as standard, giving it a sharper, more aerodynamic profile than most boxes in its size class.
It suits commuters and weekday riders who want secure, lockable storage without adding the bulk of a touring case. The lid opens and closes one-handed using SHAD's Press Lock System — the key is only needed to release the case from the bike — and a moulded slit in the shell doubles as a carry handle once the case is off.
The rear of the case uses a semi-circular curve and a hinge design with no exposed pins, so a pillion has more room and a more comfortable backrest position. A universal mounting plate and screw kit are included, and the cover can be swapped for other colours or a tintable version if you want to match the bike.

- Fit the mounting plate to a rack rated for the load, using the supplied screw kit, and torque all fasteners evenly.
- Re-check the plate bolts after the first ride or two, then periodically — vibration is the usual cause of a loose top case.
- Slide the case onto the plate until it clicks home, then turn the key to lock it to the bike; check it is properly latched before setting off.
- Press the lid firmly closed so the Press Lock seals all the way around; a partially closed lid can let water in and can pop open at speed.
- Do not exceed the rated load, and pack heavy items low and centred over the mounting plate — weight high and rearward affects handling.
- Wash the shell and carbon-look cover with warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth. Avoid solvents, petrol, degreasers and abrasive pads, which will dull or craze the plastic.
- Keep the lock barrel and the lid seal free of grit; wipe the seal clean so it keeps sitting flat.
- After wet rides, open the case and let the interior dry before closing and storing it.
- Remove the case when you don't need it to cut wind drag and weight, and store it indoors away from prolonged direct sunlight.
- Treat it as weatherproof luggage, not a safe — don't leave valuables or documents in it when the bike is parked.
