Fit the Top Master to the motorcycle first, then attach the SHAD mounting plate from your top case before clicking the case into place.
Follow the fitting instructions supplied with the kit and tighten all fasteners to the specified torque — do not overtighten into the bike's subframe mounting points.
Re-check and retighten all bolts after the first ride with luggage, then periodically as part of routine bike maintenance.
Before each ride, confirm the top case is properly latched and locked onto the plate and does not move when you tug on it.
