Alpinestars Tech 7 S Boot Blue Black White

The Alpinestars Tech 7S is a youth motocross boot built to the same design philosophy as the adult Tech 7, then scaled and shaped for junior riders and smaller-framed riders rather than simply shrunk down. A one-piece injected foot shell, contoured TPU shin plate and hard toe protector give serious off-road protection, while the low-profile pivot system keeps the ankle moving naturally on the bike.

It suits young motocross, enduro and trail riders who need genuine protection for rough terrain without a boot so stiff it kills feel on the pegs. The PU-reinforced microfibre upper is light, abrasion resistant and easy to hose down after a muddy weekend, and the sole, buckles and footbed are all replaceable, so the boot can stay serviceable for more than one season.

Allow a short break-in period of a few rides — the foot shell and pivot system loosen up as the microfibre upper moulds to the rider.
Check the buckle position on the first fitting: each buckle arm can be adjusted or repositioned so the closure sits square and the memory lock engages cleanly.
Ride with the gaiter tucked under the knee brace or pant leg so it can do its job sealing out water and dirt.
Knock off loose mud after each ride, then wash the microfibre upper with lukewarm water, mild soap and a soft brush; avoid solvents, petrol, brake cleaner and harsh degreasers.
Pull the anatomic footbed out after wet or muddy rides and dry it separately so moisture does not sit inside the boot.
Air dry at room temperature away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhausts — forced heat can harden the microfibre and distort the shell.
Inspect the buckles, arms and bridge closures regularly and replace any damaged part rather than riding with a compromised closure; all buckles are individually replaceable.
Monitor sole wear, particularly at the toe and heel; the sole is replaceable, so have it renewed once the grip pattern is worn rather than replacing the whole boot.
Store upright in a cool, dry place with the buckles lightly fastened to help the boot hold its shape.
Retire the boots after a heavy impact or crash if the shell, shin plate or toe protector shows cracking — the CE certification applies to an undamaged boot.
