The Alpinestars Tech 7 Enduro Drystar is a full-height off-road boot built for enduro riders who spend long days in mud, water crossings and changeable weather. A waterproof, breathable Drystar® membrane is built into the chassis to keep water out, while a lightweight microfibre upper reinforced with PU handles abrasion and hard use without adding unnecessary bulk.

Where a motocross boot prioritises outright rigidity, the Tech 7 Enduro balances support with feel. A biomechanical pivot allows controlled flex through the ankle, and the chassis is shaped for close contact with the bike, so you keep a clear sense of the footpegs, brake and gear lever. The purpose-built compound sole adds grip for the moments you are off the bike and on your feet.

Certified to EN 13634:2017 and finished in a black, grey and gold colourway, this is a serious choice for enduro, trail and adventure riders who want waterproof protection that is still comfortable to ride in all day.

Rinse off mud and grit with clean water as soon as practical after riding — dried dirt is abrasive and works into the buckles, gaiter and flex zones.
Clean the microfibre upper with a soft brush or damp cloth and a mild soap solution; avoid petrol, brake cleaner, solvents and harsh detergents, which can damage the microfibre, TPU and the Drystar® membrane.
Dry the boots at room temperature with good airflow, away from direct sunlight, heaters, campfires and exhaust pipes — direct heat can distort the TPU components and glued seams.
Remove the anatomic footbed after wet rides and dry it separately so the inner lining dries fully and stays fresh.
Keep the outer clean so the Drystar® membrane can breathe; a clogged, mud-caked upper will feel clammy even though it is still waterproof.
Check all buckles, straps and the hook-and-loop closures before each ride, and replace any damaged buckle promptly — they are individually replaceable, so there is no need to retire the boot.
Inspect the sole for wear and damage; both the sole and the footpeg insert are replaceable and should be renewed before the tread is worn through.
Expect a short break-in period — wear the boots around home and do a few shorter rides so the flex zones and polyfoam padding settle before a long day in the bush.
Store upright in a cool, dry place with the buckles loosely fastened to help the boots hold their shape; do not store them damp or compressed under other gear.
After any significant crash impact, inspect the shell, shin plate and ankle protection carefully and replace the boot if there is cracking or deformation.
