Description

The Alpinestars Tech 10 Supervented is the hot-weather version of the boot widely regarded as the benchmark in motocross. It takes the familiar Tech 10 chassis and opens it up for airflow, with two large inlet ports at the front, a ventilated shin plate, perforated padding and extensive mesh panels that work with rear exhaust vents to move air through the boot and shed heat as you ride.

Inside, a mesh inner bootie and 3D Higher Spring insole use air channels through the sole for ventilation while adding cushioning underfoot. Underneath, the redesigned extended honeycomb sole is built for grip and feel on the pegs, including in wet and muddy conditions.

It suits motocross, enduro and off-road riders who want top-tier protection and support without the heat build-up of a fully sealed boot — particularly relevant in Australian summer conditions. The white and bright red colourway is a race-paddock look that stays sharp with regular cleaning.

Operations & maintenance

Allow mud to dry, then brush it off before washing — scrubbing wet clay grinds grit into the microfibre and TPU panels.
Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush or cloth; avoid petrol, brake cleaner, solvents and harsh degreasers, which attack the microfibre, glues and TPU.
Pay extra attention to the white panels, as light-coloured microfibre marks easily and stains set if left.
Rinse mud and grit out of the front inlet ports, rear exhausts and mesh panels so the ventilation system keeps flowing.
Air-dry at room temperature out of direct sunlight and away from heaters, exhausts or fires; stuffing the boots with newspaper helps draw out moisture and hold their shape.
Because the Supervented is a ventilated boot, expect water in through the vents in creek crossings and heavy rain — dry the inner bootie thoroughly afterwards to prevent odour and lining breakdown.
Check all buckles, straps and hook-and-loop closures before each ride; buckles are individually replaceable, so fit a new one rather than riding with a damaged or partially engaging closure.
Inspect the central sole insert for wear — it is replaceable, and Alpinestars also offers a full sole replacement and boot repair service through authorised channels.
Adjust buckle position to suit your calf and boot fit, and close them progressively from the bottom up for even pressure and correct foot location.
Allow a short break-in period of a few rides for the shin blade, calf protector and foot shell to settle before racing in them.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, standing upright rather than folded or with weight on the shin plate.
