Tubliss 18" x (1.85-2.15) Kit

The Nuetech TUbliss system replaces the conventional inner tube with a two-chamber setup: a high-pressure inner bladder that seals the tyre to the rim, and the tyre itself, which can then be run at much lower pressure than a tubed wheel allows. This kit is sized for 18-inch rims with a rim width of 1.85 to 2.15.

It is aimed at off-road and enduro riders chasing more traction and fewer flats. Because there is no tube to pinch, punctures can be plugged at the trailside in minutes, and the full-circumference bladder keeps the tyre on the rim well enough for a slow ride out if the tyre is badly damaged.

Once the initial install is done, later tyre changes are considerably easier — there is no tube to wrestle in or out. Tyre sealant can be used alongside the system for added puncture protection.

Follow the Nuetech installation instructions supplied with the kit; if you have not fitted a TUbliss system before, consider having the first install done by a tyre fitter.
Inflate the inner bladder chamber to 100psi — this chamber does the sealing and rim protection work, so do not run it soft.
Check both the inner chamber pressure and the tyre chamber pressure before each ride, as the two are independent.
Set the tyre chamber to suit the terrain and your tyre manufacturer's guidance; the system is designed to allow lower pressures than a tubed wheel.
Use plenty of tyre lubricant when fitting and removing tyres, and keep tyre levers clear of the liner and bladder so they are not pinched, cut or pierced.
Repair punctures in the tyre carcass with a standard tyre plug; the wheel does not need to come off the bike.
Running a tyre sealant alongside the system adds further puncture protection.
If the tyre suffers a large gash or other severe damage, ride at low speed only — the full-circumference rim lock is there to get you home, not to be ridden on hard.
Inspect the bladder, liner and valves for wear, cuts or chafing at every tyre change and replace any damaged component before refitting.
Store spare or unused components in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
