Alpinestars Supertech SR10 Element Helmet ECE 22.06 Black Carbon Bright Red White Gloss

The Alpinestars Supertech R10 (S-R10) is the brand's flagship full-face road racing helmet, developed over more than a decade by Alpinestars' Helmet Product Development Department alongside MotoGP riders including Andrea Dovizioso, Jorge Martin and Jack Miller. This Element colourway pairs an exposed black carbon shell with bright red and gloss white graphics.

It is built for track days, club racing and fast road riding, where protection, aerodynamic stability and low weight all matter at once. The carbon multi-composite shell and multi-density EPS liner are matched to a wind-tunnel-developed profile with interchangeable spoilers and lateral winglets, so the helmet stays settled at speed and puts less strain on the rider's neck.

Fit is highly adjustable for a race helmet: the patented A-Head system lets you tune both the height and the tilt of the helmet on your head, while the eight-piece pad set and removable liner let you dial in the final feel. Alpinestars reports linear impact performance exceeding the ECE 22.06 limits by an average of 37%, and oblique/rotational performance by 65%.

Set the fit first: use the A-Head Fitment System to adjust how deep the helmet sits and how far forward or back it tilts, then fine-tune with the interchangeable cheek and top pads before riding.
Swap between the standard road spoiler and the longer race spoiler to suit your riding position; check the spoiler and lateral winglets are properly seated and secure before each session.
Change shields using the tool-free quick-release mechanism and confirm the metal lock levers engage so the shield seals against the window trim.
Fit the Pinlock 120XLT lens for cold or wet riding, and keep the chin vents open to help draw air across the inside of the shield and reduce misting.
Clean the shell and shield with lukewarm water and a mild soap using a soft, non-abrasive cloth — never use petrol, solvents, thinners or other harsh chemicals, which can damage the carbon finish, the shield coating and the EPS.
Remove the comfort pads and liner for washing, and let them dry fully in the shade before refitting; do not use a heat source or direct sunlight to speed this up.
The ERS cheek pad tabs are for emergency removal by trackside and medical staff only — do not use them for routine liner removal.
Store the helmet in the supplied bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and exhaust heat; never hang it on a mirror or bar end.
After wet rides, dry the helmet at room temperature with the vents open and the liner removed to prevent odour and mould.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible damage, and replace scratched shields rather than polishing them.
