The Thor Blitz XR Youth Boot Strap Kit is a genuine replacement strap set for Thor's Blitz XR youth motocross boot, supplied in a white and black colourway to match the standard boot.
Straps and buckles take the worst of ruts, footpegs and the odd crash, and they are usually the first part of a boot to fail while the sole and chassis still have plenty of life left. This kit lets you refresh a serviceable pair of boots instead of replacing them, which is handy for growing riders working through a race season.
Fitment is model specific — this kit is intended for the Thor Blitz XR youth boot. Check your boot model before ordering.

- Confirm your boots are the Blitz XR youth model before fitting — straps and mounting hardware are not interchangeable between boot models.
- Before removing the old straps, note the position and order of each one so the replacements go back in the matching locations.
- Keep the original mounting hardware if the damaged strap's screws or rivets are still sound, and refit them square so the strap pivots freely.
- Do not overtighten mounting hardware; the strap should move smoothly without binding, and an over-tightened fastener can crack the mount.
- Check straps, buckles and fasteners before each ride and re-tighten anything that has worked loose.
- Clean with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush; avoid solvents, petrol and harsh degreasers, and don't use a pressure washer on the buckles.
- Dry naturally away from direct heat sources such as heaters, exhausts or direct sun, which can distort plastic components.
- Store the boots dry and out of prolonged direct sunlight to slow UV degradation of the straps.
- Replace any strap or buckle that is cracked, badly worn or no longer latching securely rather than riding on it.
