A direct replacement drive package for the STACYC 12eDRIVE, combining the motor and the electronic speed controller (ESC) in one pre-wired assembly. It is intended for owners and workshops repairing a bike with a failed or worn motor or controller, rather than as a performance upgrade.

The motor and ESC arrive already wired together and use a plug and play connection, so fitting is largely a matter of removing the old assembly and connecting the new one. The motor comes with the correct pinion gear for the 12eDRIVE's 11.4:1 ratio gearbox.

Please note: the motor mount is not supplied and must be transferred from the motor being replaced.

Disconnect and remove the battery before starting any work on the motor or controller.
Transfer the motor mount from the motor being replaced — it is not supplied with this combo.
Check that the pinion gear meshes correctly with the gearbox and that fasteners are tightened evenly before the first ride.
Make sure all plug and play connectors are fully seated and locked, and that the loom is routed clear of the wheel, chain or drive components and any sharp edges.
Keep the ESC and its connectors dry; do not pressure wash or hose the bike, and wipe the drive area clean with a damp cloth instead.
If the bike has been ridden in wet or muddy conditions, allow the drive assembly to dry fully before storage or recharging.
Store the bike in a cool, dry place and avoid leaving it exposed to rain or extended direct sunlight.
Periodically inspect the wiring for chafing or damage and re-check mounting hardware, particularly after heavy use or a crash.
Do not attempt to open or repair the ESC; if the motor runs intermittently, cuts out or overheats, stop riding and have it inspected.
Use this assembly only on the 12eDRIVE it is intended for, and do not modify the wiring or connectors.
