STACYC BIKE - BRUSHLESS 16EDRIVE (UN3481/CLASS 9)

The STACYC 16eDRIVE Brushless is the larger-platform stability cycle in the STACYC range, built for kids who already have some balance bike experience and have outgrown a smaller frame. It runs STACYC's high-output brushless motor from the factory, adding low-end power and torque for more confident riding across varied terrain.

Riders can start in non-powered mode to learn to push, balance and coast, then graduate to powered mode once they can coast and brake reliably while standing. Three selectable speed modes let parents keep the pace matched to ability, starting near walking-push speed and stepping up as skills develop.

Suited to riders roughly 5–7 years old, under 34 kg, with an inseam of 18 inches or more so they can touch the ground with a slight bend in the knees. Ships with one lithium-ion battery and charger.

Charge the battery fully before the first ride; a full charge takes roughly 30–60 minutes and gives about 30–60 minutes of run time depending on terrain and riding style.
Use only the supplied STACYC charger, charge on a hard, non-flammable surface, and don't leave the battery charging unattended.
Remove the quick-disconnect battery before cleaning, transporting or storing the bike, and store it indoors at room temperature — avoid leaving it in a hot car or in freezing conditions.
Start new riders in non-powered mode, then Low/Training mode, and only move up to Med or High once they can coast and brake confidently while standing.
Check the brake lever travel and brake function before every ride, and confirm the throttle returns freely to closed.
Check pneumatic tyre pressure regularly against the pressure moulded on the tyre sidewall, and inspect tyres for wear, cuts and embedded debris.
After each ride, check that the axle nuts, stem, handlebar clamp, seat clamp and motor mount fasteners are still tight — vibration and hard use can loosen them.
Adjust the seat height so the rider can touch the ground with a slight bend in the knees; the 17-inch stock seat height suits an 18-inch or longer inseam.
Wipe the frame and components with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use a pressure washer or hose directly on the motor, controller, battery terminals or bearings.
Dry the bike and the battery contacts thoroughly after riding in wet or muddy conditions, and keep the battery bay free of grit.
Store the bike indoors, out of direct sunlight and away from moisture; top the battery up periodically during long periods without use rather than leaving it flat.
Always ride with a correctly fitted helmet and supervise young riders in powered modes.
