Description

The Shinko SR777 is a cruiser tyre built for big V-twin and metric machines, and this 120/50-26 fitment is the front size for the 26-inch custom wheels commonly run on baggers and stretched cruisers. It is a tubeless, bias-ply casing with a directional tread pattern designed to shed water while holding a stable line on dry bitumen.

Shinko offers the 777 in a wide spread of sizes across the range, which makes it a common choice for riders matching front and rear rubber on anything from a Harley-Davidson to a Suzuki cruiser. For owners of large-diameter front wheels it is a straightforward, good-value replacement without stepping into boutique pricing.

Supplied as a single front tyre. Fitting, balancing and valve hardware are not included.

Operations & maintenance

Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified motorcycle tyre technician — large-diameter tubeless fitments need the correct machine and bead-seating technique.
Check that the directional rotation arrow on the sidewall matches the wheel's direction of travel before the tyre is seated.
Being tubeless, it must be fitted to a rim rated for tubeless use, with a sound bead seat, a serviceable valve and no cracks or corrosion; fit a new valve at the same time as the tyre.
Scrub in the new tyre gently — avoid hard acceleration, heavy braking and deep lean angles until the release agent has worn off the tread surface.
Check and adjust pressures when the tyre is cold, using the pressure specified by your motorcycle's manufacturer for the load you are carrying, and re-check regularly.
Do not exceed the load and speed capability marked on the sidewall (73H), and do not overload the front wheel with heavy fairing or bar hardware beyond the bike's front axle rating.
Inspect before rides for cuts, embedded objects, bulges, uneven wear and sidewall damage; replace the tyre if the casing has been penetrated or run flat.
Replace when the tread reaches the moulded wear indicators or your state's minimum legal tread depth, whichever comes first.
Do not fit a bias-ply tyre alongside a radial on the same motorcycle unless your motorcycle manufacturer specifically approves the combination.
Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight, away from fuels, solvents, ozone-producing electric motors and sharp edges.
Clean with mild soap and water only; avoid tyre dressings, silicone shine products and solvents on the tread, as they can reduce grip.
