Check tyre pressure when cold before every ride; refer to your motorcycle manufacturer's handbook for the correct inflation pressure for the specific load and speed conditions — do not use a pressure listed for a different tyre or vehicle.
Never exceed the rated load index of 73 (365 kg total load on the tyre) or the W speed rating (270 km/h) during use.
Bed in a new tyre gradually over the first 100–200 km: avoid full lean angles, hard braking, and maximum acceleration while the release compound wears away and the tyre reaches its operating temperature.
EV-specific: regenerative braking applies sustained deceleration forces to the rear tyre; inspect rear tread wear more frequently than the interval you would follow on a conventional motorcycle.
Inspect the tread surface and both sidewalls regularly for cuts, embedded objects, cracking, or abnormal bulges; a tyre showing structural damage must be replaced immediately.
Do not use the tyre below the legal minimum tread depth of 1.5 mm (Australia); replace before the tread wear indicators are reached.
Clean with mild soap and water only; never apply petroleum-based solvents, silicone-based tyre shine, or lubricants to the tread or sidewall.
When storing an unmounted tyre, keep it upright or horizontal in a cool, dark, dry location, away from ozone-generating sources such as electric motors and fluorescent lighting, and out of direct sunlight.
