- Align the cover with the battery cavity on the interior of the helmet and press firmly until it clicks securely into place — no tools required.
- Before fitting, ensure the cavity is clean and free of debris to allow a flush, secure seat.
- Clean the cover with a soft damp cloth and mild soap only; avoid solvents, petrol, or alcohol-based cleaners, which can degrade plastic.
- Inspect the cover periodically for cracks or deformation, particularly after any impact to the helmet.
- If installing a Shoei-compatible communication system (such as the Sena SRL2), remove this cover before fitting the intercom battery unit.
- Store the cover in a safe location if removed, as it is a small part that can be easily lost.
- Do not attempt to modify or trim the cover, as this may compromise the fit and the integrity of the helmet interior.
