Silicone Bike and Tyre Shine 20L

Silicone Bike and Tyre Shine from Link International is a silicone-based dressing for motorcycle tyres and plastics, supplied in a 20 litre drum for workshops, dealerships, race teams and clubs that get through a lot of product.

It leaves an even, glossy finish that restores the look of tyre sidewalls and faded plastic, and it resists water so the shine holds up longer than most comparable dressings. Buying it in bulk means you can decant into your own trigger bottles and keep unit costs down.

Note: this is a dangerous goods item and ships subject to Australian dangerous goods freight requirements.

  • Wash and thoroughly dry tyres and plastics before application — dressing applied over dirt or road grime will not bond evenly.
  • Decant from the 20 L drum into a smaller trigger bottle or applicator container for day-to-day use, and reseal the drum straight away.
  • Apply with a sponge or applicator cloth rather than spraying directly at the bike, so you can control where the product lands.
  • Keep it off tyre tread, brake discs, brake pads, the seat, footpegs and handlebar grips — silicone on any of these creates a serious slip hazard.
  • Wipe or buff away excess so the finish is even and the product doesn't sling off the tyre once you are moving.
  • Allow the treated surfaces to dry before riding.
  • Test on an inconspicuous area first when treating unfamiliar plastics or trim.
  • This is a Class 3 dangerous good — store the drum sealed, upright, in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from heat, sparks and open flame, and out of direct sunlight.
  • Wash hands after handling and keep the product out of reach of children.
  • Follow the manufacturer's label and Safety Data Sheet for handling, first aid and disposal.
